Your leads.
Your sales process.
Pay per lead gives your contracting business homeowner enquiries to follow up. With LMC, we fund and manage the advertising and deliver exclusive leads. Your team handles the calls, qualification, estimates and sale. You pay for valid leads—not only the ones that become jobs.
Key takeaways
- Every LMC lead goes to one LMC client. We never share or resell it.
- LMC covers ad spend. There is no upfront cost, retainer or lock-in contract.
- Your team needs time to contact homeowners, book estimates and follow up on quotes.
- Judge a lead source by suitable work won and the cost of getting it, not lead count alone.

What actually happens after an enquiry?
A homeowner responds to a campaign and provides an enquiry. LMC delivers that lead to your business. This is the start of your sales process, not evidence that an estimate is booked or that the homeowner has agreed to buy.
Give each incoming enquiry a named owner. That person checks the details, contacts the homeowner, confirms the work and service area, and agrees the next step. If an estimate is appropriate, your team schedules it, attends, prepares a quote and follows up.
For example, a homeowner asking about an interior painting project may still need to discuss the rooms, existing surfaces and timing. A coating enquiry may require a discussion of where the floor is located and an inspection of its condition. These are illustrative conversations, not pre-qualified promises about every lead.

Is your business ready to buy leads?
PPL can make sense when someone in the business can handle enquiries consistently. Having installation capacity is only half the requirement. You also need capacity for phone conversations, estimating and quote follow-up.
Before starting, decide who covers enquiries while the owner is on a job, how the team records attempted and successful contact, and when an open quote gets another review. An inbox full of names is not a sales process.
If nobody can take responsibility for those first conversations, address that before increasing volume. LMC also offers a separate appointment service with human setters. See the lead-versus-appointment comparison for the different handovers.

Set the project scope before launch.
LMC focuses on epoxy flooring and concrete coatings, interior and exterior painting, and permanent outdoor lighting. The USA is our primary market. Availability and the territory are discussed before starting.
Be specific about the work you want. A coating contractor may accept suitable residential floors beyond garages. A painter may want both interior and exterior work but have different crew availability for each. A lighting installer should distinguish permanent outdoor installations from temporary holiday-light work.
Those choices help define the campaign and the conversation your team will have. Use the free campaign planner to write down projects, service area and capacity. Do not assume every service in a broad trade is automatically included.

Understand the payment and replacement rules.
LMC funds and manages the ads for its PPL service. You do not need to build or operate the campaigns. There is no upfront cost, retainer or lock-in contract; the lead arrangement is agreed before you start.
Wrong numbers, duplicates and enquiries outside the agreed service area can be replaced. A valid enquiry remains payable if the homeowner does not answer. An unsuccessful quote or a homeowner choosing someone else does not, by itself, establish an invalid lead.
Read the lead-replacement guide for examples. Appointment cancellation and no-show fee credits belong to the separate appointment service. They are not the PPL replacement policy.

Review a batch of leads all the way to jobs.
Record when each lead arrived, whether you reached the homeowner, whether an estimate happened, the quote status and any job won. Keep open opportunities separate from confirmed losses. A week of new enquiries cannot fairly be compared with an older batch whose quotes have had time to close.
Use the PPL results guide to calculate cost per won job and identify the stage needing attention. A low contact rate asks a different question from plenty of estimates but few accepted quotes.
If you want to see a published example of the model, the APX Epoxy case concerns a homeowner lead campaign. Its historical results belong to that campaign; they are not a forecast for a new coating, painting or lighting business.
Common questions.
Who owns the advertising account?
LMC funds and manages the advertising and keeps the ad accounts, campaign creatives and lead/contact records when a client pauses or leaves. Clients do not operate the campaigns. Discuss any specific data-access requirement before starting.
Are LMC leads shared?
No. Each homeowner lead goes to one LMC client. LMC never shares or resells it to another contractor. A homeowner can still independently ask another company for a quote.
Can I adjust volume?
Discuss your capacity with LMC. Volume can be adjusted weekly and delivery can be paused on request. Agree the practical arrangement before launch; there is no universal lead-volume promise on this page.
